We intend that our customers , when leaving our restaurant should be thinking “ I enjoyed that meal – that was cooked specially for me – its fresh ingredients were well cooked and presented – and it was certainly value for money ”.
Our traditionally decorated restaurant is serviced by a large high-tech kitchen – you are welcome to visit our modern kitchen for a photo op . We don’t just employ well trained cooks – we employ Cooking Magicians , who just love their art of preparing wholesome food . Our menu is extremely wide – selecting the most popular dishes from around the world , plus the local Filipino cuisine – this includes tasty steaks ( prepared according to the customers wishes ) , mouth-watering giant or mini burgers , pizzas , seafoods – its plus , plus , plus – it’s an extensive menu – remember it has been in the making for almost 30 years !
Nigi’s promotes the best of “ Filipino Hospitality ” – our motto is – serve it fast and serve it with a smile . Our well-illustrated “ picture-menu ” makes it easy for non-English speakers to relax and select exactly what they fancy . If someone unfortunately orders the wrong item – we will change it to their preference at no charge.
The Nigi restaurant is fortunate to have the most popular beachfront bar in town – maybe because it consistently serves the coldest beer on the island with a very wide choice of international cocktails – be careful ! Our cocktails are concocted somewhat generously . When you’re on the island for the first time , or have just arrived – allow us to welcome you to the Nigi Nigi Nu Noos Beachfront Bar - we offer your first beer completely free – that gives you the opportunity to see how cold our beer really is ! If you drink beer – Filipino style – from the bottle – use an insulated stubie to assist in keeping the beer cool .
Our day starts around sunrise as our daily fresh ingredients are delivered from local farmer’s markets , plus direct from the sea via overnight fishing trips . We are ready at 7:00 am to offer a continuous service of the “best food in town” til midnight . We are not a franchise – we are a one-off unique café/bar/restaurant that offers everything a ‘little’ different . So treat yourself to something different while on vacation.
Start the day with a wholesome Nigi Nigi breakfast – try our “ Hungry Man ” breakfast which includes as many eggs as you want , all cooked in any style you wish . Our egg record started over 15 years ago and initially stood at 24 , but today it stands at a remarkable : 47 –
Our coffee – brewed from roasted Arabica beans – is outstanding – being individually presented in stylish French presses . Plus , we have a wide selection of teas including some healthy herbal types . All our breakfasts include a selection of freshly baked breads , from our popular in-house bakery , which specializes in preparing extra healthy bread and cookies by using the hi-tech mineralizer process which increases the mineral content of the bread . A high mineral content makes it both healthier and tastier .

Our bakery serves the daily bread needs of many Island Residents , as well as a number of restaurants on the island .
For mid-day snacks and a full lunch , we again offer a full range of international delights , plus a 2 or 4 person promo offer called the Nigimeter or Nigihalfmeter , which is served on a bed of banana leaves as in the traditional style of the Philippines .
The Nigimeters include : mini chicken and beef burgers , chicken wings , meat kebabs , onion rings , spring rolls , tuna biscuits , potato wedges and prawn crackers , with a selection of different colored local rice and sauces . This mid-day special is served with free bottomless iced tea , or with a 20% discount off our drinks menu .

Our Restaurant also welcomes visiting chefs to demonstrate their cooking skills by preparing something special in our kitchen .
As the sun sets , the mood in Nigi’s beachfront bar and restaurant changes as the tranquility and serenity of a tropical sunset slowly merges into a vibrant tropical evening .
To prompt things along we offer a 2 for 1 Happy Hour from 5 to 7:00 pm on cocktails . While at 8:00 pm the ambiance goes upbeat when Nigi’s resident band sends the vibrance of guitar strings and the rolling of drums into the tropical sky . Our band , specializing in popular Rock ‘n Roll of the 60s to the 90s are known to be the best on the Island . Initially the diners chill out to the soothing rhythm of slow rock , which , as the evening progresses , is transformed into foot-stomping full tempo Rock ‘n Roll . From 11:00 pm til midnight local and visiting musicians are invited to jam , which again heightens the intensity of the ambiance – it’s then literally Rock ‘n Roll at full swing ( see our FB Page https://www.facebook.com/midnightatnigis ) .
